UPDATE 2: High Phi is working on some more personal touches to the soundscape, a big one will be changing pitch for sounds behind you. Might be out at the end of March or a little later.

UPDATE: More usability and some fixes to go live in 2 days after jam voting period!

Nice! I liked the sound design :)

Only constructive criticism I can give is that I found it hard to tell if a raindrop was in front of or behind me.
This led me to sometimes walk over the top of raindrops without noticing that I'd passed it.

Maybe an audio cue when you can place a drum would have fixed this, or some other audio adjustments to help indicate when a sound is coming from behind your head.

Just my personal experience though. And it's not a big deal with something short and sweet like this.

I noticed that, maybe a splash sound when you are in the sweet zone of a puddle?

Yeah, a puddle splash sound would be perfect! Maybe it could even replace your footstep sounds when walking near the raindrops.

A very elegant concept, I love it!
There's a drop that I couln't find with my eyes closed.

Loved the ambience & sound design !

Played with my eyes closed too and honestly was great, awesome game.

Thank you, I'm really glad you enjoyed it

Wow that was super cool, I tried playing with my eyes closed and it was totally doable. I liked how soothing the sounds were, made me all relaxed and in my zen.

The one thing I will say is one of the raindrop puddle locations was a bit too close to another puddle. Made it a bit too hard for me to discern the location because the other one was making so much noise.

Overall really cool concept and well executed, good job!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The goal was definitely to make it easy and relaxing. Would you say the puddles being close together made it a fair challenge or was it more of an annoyance?

It was definitely too difficult for me (I had to open my eyes to find it), but my hearing is rubbish, someone with better hearing might not struggle as much.
