Start! Building a Roguelike - Week 2

This is the beginning, and beginnings are beautiful! I was losing direction in the 90 Day Jam, so I decided to take on a different project for awhile. I'm guessing balancing both will be too hard and one will need to be dropped, but I really want to get that RTS working. If you've seen my other projects, you'll find that I like to make a wide breadth of games, to find what I'm capable of.

I had kept eyes on the r/roguelikedev Tutorial build-along, and I had some prototypes in Godot that I had liked to expand upon. Using some knowledge from Beast Kings, I managed to get a text-based prototype running in just a rich text label, and I used that knowledge to get this project running. Basically, the script can turn a text into an array and then move things in that array, getting file drag and drop was interesting, I had to find some code from years ago.

I will want to do some devlogs on Youtube soon, but for this portion, it was getting late in the day and I wanted to move on. It is currently raining where I am at and that is empowering me, it is so much cooler out now!

Post ideas you'd like to see in the comments on the game, graphics may not get much better, but I want plenty of different effects to be shown through text!
